WP Ultimate Search Milestone Release

We’re happy to announce that after eight months and over 200 hours in development, we’ve finally released the 1.0 milestone release of our WP Ultimate Search plugin.

WP Ultimate Search is a solution written from the ground up to support browsing complex sets of data through faceted search queries, which allow users to narrow down search results by any number of custom taxonomies and meta fields. The ability to facet by meta fields is especially powerful when coupled with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, which uses meta fields to store additional post data. For example, a site with the post type, “Portfolio” with a custom field “Client”, could have a search bar with parameters like:
