Growing Up New Mexico

Mindshare Labs was hired to design and develop a new website for Growing Up New Mexico. We worked with Big Fish Marketing and their lead creative, Robin Roffer to offer a next-generation website design that brings this inspiring and important non-profit onto the web and into the future.

This website features fully integrated content sections, programmatic website translation (including the forms!), a fully responsive design, and a host of content management tools to help their team keep the content fresh and current.

Mindshare Labs spent time organizing all of the organization’s content in order to create an intuitive and easy-to-navigate website. From there, we designed each piece of content specifically to support the amazing writing that Big Fish Marketing delivered.

Then, it was up to the development team to pull off this very specific and hard-to-program design. Mindshare Labs does not use page builders, we do not rely on 3rd party page templates, and we definitely do not cut corners when it comes to the programming of our websites. So, starting with a blank page, we got to work writing every piece of code, line by line.

This website takes advantage of WordPress’s advanced editing platform, called Gutenberg. With this tool, we’re able to create content blocks from the ground up. These help us achieve highly specific designs that match and support organizational branding. It’s important to us that we’re not making design decisions based on “what’s included” or other page builder content blocks. We make them ourselves.
