Exciting updates on WP Ultimate Search

Development on our Ultimate Search plugin for WordPress is coming along fantastically. We finished the latest sprint of changes yesterday, and the new version is now live on our Mindshare Labs staging site.

The plugin now supports (in a very rudimentary way) indexing and searching of data stored in the post_meta tables, specifically data created with Advanced Custom Fields. We also put a lot of work into upgrading our in-house options framework to create an interface intuitive to managing and modifying user-set taxonomies and meta fields. A screenshot:

We’re moving rapidly towards our 1.0 release, concurrent with the launch of our new Mindshare Software website— an online resource for all of Mindshare’s free and commercial plugins, developer themes, development blog, documentation, and support forums. With the 1.0 release we’ll update the current version on the WordPress repository with the latest version of the code, and provide an easy-to-use method of upgrading to the premium version (which will support unlimited custom taxonomies and post-meta fields).
